Dear U.S. Dioceses and Parishes,
Welcome to Catholics Come Home®!
We are humbled to announce the First Time Ever National Catholic Television Event of the New Evangelization. This national TV initiative supports you in your apostolic mission of spreading the good news of Jesus and His Church to the ends of the earth.
We don’t need to tell you that 70% of baptized Catholics worldwide are not practicing their faith and that Mass attendance has plummeted since the 1960’s. As those dioceses that have partnered with Catholics Come Home to date can witness, the Holy Spirit is working through modern media, guiding Catholics that are away from faith back “home.” We pray for this national campaign to create the largest family reunion in Church history!
To date, where CCH commercials have aired associated with partner diocesan campaigns, there has been an average of a 10% increase in Mass attendance, along with a deepening of Catholic identity which has often resulted in parishioners returning to Reconciliation, increased involvement in parish life, and an increase in parish and diocese financial support.
This landing page will answer your questions about the Catholics Come Home national campaign and provide you with parish welcoming resources.
God bless you for serving our Lord and His Church. We are honored to partner with you in helping souls to come home to the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church!
Your brother in Christ,

Tom Peterson

Evangelization Cards >
Order “CatholicsComeHome.org Evangelization Cards” for your parishioners to hand out to their families/friends who are away from the Church to inspire them to visit the CCH website and return to their parish.

DVD’s >
Show the commercials in your parish. Order the CatholicsComeHome.org DVD from our site and show the ads at the end of Mass for educational purposes. Showing these ads is a great way to get your parishioners excited about evangelizing, and sharing the CatholicsComeHome.org website with those away from the faith.

Frequently Asked Questions
The three week national campaign will begin airing December 16, 2011, inviting those away from the Catholic Church to “come home” to their parish.
What stations will air the CCH commercials?Catholics Come Home® commercials will air on a variety of national broadcast and cable networks in English and Spanish, including: CBS, NBC, TNT, TBS USA, Univision, and more!
How does a national initiative compare to a local CCH diocesan partner campaign? The national Catholics Come Home® initiative is a good supplemental effort to invite inactive Catholics back to their parish, but will never replace the value of intense local CCH diocesan partner campaigns, which provide greater frequency and broader reach to local viewers in a diocesan TV market.
When a viewer sees a commercial, what are they asked to do?Ads will be airing nationally in English and in Spanish. Catholics Come Home® commercials invite viewers to “come home” to their parish, and visit www.CatholicsComeHome.org (or www.CatolicosRegresen.org). Our interactive English and Spanish language websites feature a “Nearby Parishes” link at the top of the page, along with supporting catechetical information for Catholics who are away from the faith, Non-Catholics, and practicing Catholics.
How should our diocese/parishes prepare for the CCH commercials airing nationally? As a result of airing in more than thirty dioceses during the past three years, we have compiled some helpful “Best Practices” for parishes. Welcoming home returning Catholics is not labor-intensive, in fact 90% of returnees simply return to Mass and/or Reconciliation. It is truly joyful to welcome home those who have been away.
