Death and Grieving

“For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”– Romans 8:38-39

This section of the Catholics Come Home ® website will provide you with some spiritual and practical resources to help you better understand the Christian view of death and moral teachings regarding end of life issues, as well as help guide you through the process of grieving for a loved one you’ve lost through death. Christ reminds us in the Sermon on the Mount: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4). Our Heavenly Father wants us to find consolation in His loving arms.
